LiveSnap.tv Terms of Service

Version 1.1, effective from 1 October 2026. Privacy Policy · Home page

1. Who runs the service

LiveSnap.tv is run by Dartford Trading Ltd, registered at Halcyon Close 11, CM8 1GW Witham, United Kingdom, company number 09592691, referred to below as the "Operator". Contact: admin@livesnap.tv, helpline +44 1322 517 105.

2. What the service is

  1. The service provides a single, shared live-streaming stage. At any given moment exactly one person is broadcasting, and the picture is visible to everyone visiting the home page.
  2. Broadcasting starts after scanning a QR code or opening the studio page. No account is required.
  3. Every broadcast receives a visible sequential number.
  4. A broadcaster without an account gets 60 seconds of guaranteed airtime; a broadcaster with an account gets 600 seconds. Once the guarantee expires, the broadcast continues until someone else claims the stage.
  5. A live chat with viewers runs alongside the broadcast (point 6). Anyone can read it; only logged-in users can post.
  6. Using the service is free. The slot-reservation and extra-time features are currently free; the Operator may introduce charges for them, giving advance notice.

3. Age requirement

  1. Only adults may broadcast or post in the chat.
  2. Before broadcasting for the first time and before posting a first chat message, the user declares that they are at least 18 years old and accepts these Terms.
  3. The Operator does not verify age with a document. Making a false declaration is a breach of these Terms and is the responsibility of the person who made it.

4. Responsibility for the broadcast content

  1. The broadcaster bears sole responsibility for everything that appears in their broadcast, including the picture, sound, statements, and the likeness of third parties.
  2. The broadcaster declares that they hold the rights to the broadcast content and the consent of anyone whose likeness is captured.
  3. The Operator is not the author or editor of any broadcast. Broadcasts are live and are not reviewed in advance.

5. What may not be broadcast

It is forbidden to broadcast content that:

6. Chat with viewers

  1. Chat messages are public: they are visible to everyone visiting the home page and the studio page, together with the author's display name and the time sent.
  2. The author bears sole responsibility for the content of their messages. The restrictions in point 5 apply to the chat accordingly.
  3. In the chat it is additionally forbidden to:
  4. The chat has technical limits that protect the conversation: a maximum message length, a minimum interval between messages from one person (slow mode), a limit on the number of messages from one network, and rejection of repeated content. The Operator may change these values and temporarily disable the chat. Disabling it does not remove earlier messages.
  5. An author may delete their own message at any time. Any user may hide messages from a chosen author for themselves; hiding only works in their own browser.
  6. The chat is not continuously moderated. Breaches can be reported to the contact address in point 1, stating the author, the time, and the message content.
  7. The Operator may remove a message that breaches these Terms or the law, and in the event of a serious or repeated breach may withdraw the ability to post in the chat or suspend the account (point 10).
  8. Messages are stored for 90 days, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Reporting breaches and stopping a broadcast

  1. Any viewer can report a breach using the button shown next to the broadcast. A report requires no account and no justification.
  2. Once the report threshold is reached, the broadcast is stopped immediately, automatically, and without prior notice. The default threshold is two independent reports.
  3. Further reports against the same broadcaster, concerning more than one broadcast, result in a temporary broadcasting block. By default this is one hour.
  4. The Operator may also stop any broadcast and block a broadcaster without a report, if it has a reasonable suspicion of a breach of these Terms or the law.
  5. The Operator may change the thresholds and the block duration. The current values apply from the moment they are set.
  6. A broadcaster who believes a stop or block was unjustified may report this to the contact address. The Operator handles such reports without undue delay.

8. Automated image analysis

  1. The Operator may subject individual broadcast frames to automated analysis for forbidden content.
  2. The analysis is automated and does not replace human judgment. Its result may lead to the broadcast being stopped.
  3. Frames used for analysis are not used for any other purpose and are not shared beyond the scope described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Are broadcasts recorded

  1. The Operator does not record or archive broadcasts. The picture is delivered to viewers live and is not saved on the Operator's servers.
  2. The Operator has no technical means of replaying a finished broadcast.
  3. Viewers may independently record the picture using means outside the Operator's control. Broadcasters should bear this in mind.

10. User accounts

  1. An account is optional and provides longer guaranteed airtime, access to reservations, and the ability to post in the chat.
  2. The user provides a genuine email address and is responsible for keeping their password secure.
  3. A user may delete their account at any time by writing to the contact address.
  4. The Operator may suspend or delete an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, stating the reason.

11. Availability of the service

  1. The service is in a development phase. The Operator does not guarantee continuity of operation, picture quality, or data retention.
  2. The Operator may make changes, limit features, and take the service offline.

12. Complaints

Complaints are handled at the contact address given in point 1. The Operator responds within 14 days of receiving a complaint.

13. Changes to these Terms

  1. The Operator may change these Terms. A new version receives a sequential number and date.
  2. Before broadcasting for the first time and before posting a first chat message after a change, the user accepts the current version.
  3. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the new version.

14. Governing law

Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law. These Terms do not limit any consumer rights arising from mandatory statutory provisions.
